I brought my son to this emergency department after he sustained a head injury at school. While we were waiting my son went to play in the gaming area, a female staff member yelled across the room at him even though he was not being disruptive, damaging property, or behaving inappropriately. Her conduct was rude, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional, especially toward a child and knowing he suffered suffered a head injury. My daughter came in by ambulance because she had a seizure. She has never had one before and the doctor didn't even come to look or talk to her or me to hear what happened. She immediately assumed that she hit her head and ordered a head CT. My daughter DID NOT HIT HER HEAD. The doctor Suzannah Swan seemed to brush off the seizure my daughter had and didn't take it seriously. My daughter is 15 years old and she PEED HERSELF WHILE SEIZING. THAT IS NOT NORMAL. We had a great ER visit. The medical team was amazing, timely manner, effective got us out as soon as possible. My daughter broke her wrist / hand bone, they spoke with her explain what was going to happen and what was expected. It was a 4 hour visit. I was pleased and grateful for the staff who treated my baby. We also scheduled with the specialist 3 days out.
We had a great experience with their ER department, my son was not feeling well and had a fever, they took him in quickly and took care of hin right away. The nurses and doctor were very caring and friendly and made the process enjoyable for my son.
