After the lead Banner Neurologist wanted us to get a second look at our child due to his stroke and epilepsy and the complexity of his medical case. We scheduled an appointment with Dr. Wilfong 5 months ago and confirmed insurance and completed all the necessary paperwork, only to be notified less than 24 hours before his schedule appointment that we were required to schedule an EEG before hand and they canceled our appointment. Any Parents having issues with scheduling negligence I am writing to express deep concern and frustration regarding the care and communication my daughter, has received through Phoenix Children’s Hospital Neurology . While I have always appreciated the high-quality care in the past, our recent experience has been both disappointing and alarming. Jahlonna Ohr and her nursing staff are the worst! Definitely makes the hospital look bad. All the other specialists we have no problems with but if you’re going here for neuro I’d go elsewhere. Didn’t help my son whatsoever and have the worst attitudes. Changing neurologist to a doctor of neurology since she’s a PA hopefully that makes a difference.
Is anybody else having issues with scheduling? I had one referral sent apparently it was canceled after a 3 call policy I never received. I've been calling and scheduling online and still have not heard back . I can't get through if I call on the phone , the que is hours long and evidently nobody is monitoring the online scheduling so I'm not sure why that's an option . I once again asked for a call back , I guess we'll see if I get one, if not I have to go down and schedule in person
