I would avoid the radiology services at all cost. My daughter had a CT scan ordered for an injury. First, the cost of obtaining a CT is multiples of what it would be at any other outpatient radiology facility in town. They are wanting $2700 for a study that I could obtain for $200 cash. Those are actual numbers, not an exaggeration. Part of the reason that their charge is so high is that they are fraudulently billing for a service that they did not perform. We are cash pay patients. We received the cash pay estimate for the MRI a month after we scheduled. Specialist need you there an hour ahead to fill out paperwork, and to call your child's name on time or before appointment time. The staff is friendly and communicates with you throughout the entire process.
The staff and doctors are consistently helpful and friendly. I was just helped with the online portal and the woman in the support department was GREAT. Thank you!
They make you get here an hour early for paperwork that takes 5 minutes to do. My son is here for an MRI today. They have Pandora to listen to on MRI safe headphones or you can bring your ipod to plug into their headphones. There's a tv in the waiting room that plays movies before you go in. Parents (or guardians) can go into the room with their child while having the MRI. As long as you don't wear any metal. Otherwise you can wait in the waiting room.
