Experienced psychiatrists work closely with psychologists, medical staff, even school administrators to give children and adolescents an integrated model of care. What does this mean? We start with a full psychiatric evaluation. We consider the biological, psychological and social factors that play a role in the difficulties our patients are experiencing. Then we build a comprehensive treatment plan suited to each patient that addresses those core factors.

Dr. Gaby Ritfeld is fantastic. Our son has multiple health concerns, and we needed fresh eyes on his medications. She spent so much time talking to us and learning about our son. She asks great questions and also gives thoughtful answers and suggestions. It is not easy to get in to see PHX Children's specialists. We changed to a new pediatrician in the PCH network, and her concerns led her to make arrangements for us to get a consultation with Dr. Ritfeld. She is worth waiting for.

If zero stars were possible I'd do that. I requested a call for appt on Tuesday. I never got a call. I tried calling twice and it went to voice-mail. I finally got ahold of someone on Friday and was put on hold for 10 minutes. Then she tells me my son's referral has no notes attached to and I would have to solve this issue for them. The providers are supposed to request records and perform doc-to-docs. That is NOT my job. It is not my job to correct provider errors. It is not my job to ensure the provider has all the informa... read more
