I called for a quote to have a timing belt done, and was told they had a couple of quote to do and would give me a call back with the quote, never heard back! I guess it is too hard for them.
I bought my car off a mechanic in Seymour, who is now closed. The car was being used as a courtesy car. I presumed it was in good condition. Before I bought it, he took the car to Phoenix motors have a roadworthy done so it could be sold and transferred. If any issues were noted, he (mechanic i bought it from) was going to fix them. Great service. You do need to book a couple weeks in advance. Very happy with them. Great price as well. I have taken my car to Skippy previously and they charged a large amount and also tried to get me to change my breaks which had nothing wrong with them. Phoenix Automotive is the place to go!

If a mechanic isn't busy there's a reason and they will make themselves busy at your expense, anyway...... RWC was done to the standard kind of. all RWC I have had done before have had a brake test certificate supplied which wasn't and I was told to rectify brake fluid?, I was also told the third brake light wasn't fitted to the car it is there and is working.
