Authentic! They have really great noodle soup and spring rolls along with many other types of Vietnamese food. It is very authentic and if you like coffee order the Vietnamese coffee pronounced Cafe Sadah. It takes a while to brew at your table. Once it finishes brewing you mix it up with condensed milk they put in the bottom of your glass and voila! It is also really good on ice! The limeaid is great too, but extra sweet.
Good food Great food, perfect Thai Tea Boba's but the service is so-so at best. The people at the Mira Mesa store tend to be a little more friendly, especially if you are a regular.
need more luck =:) Maybe I was too tired that day. I usually like pho but I left more than half of my pho at this place and ended up eating my son's rice dish.
PHO? Hoacali Express has the best egg rolls that I've ever had a a pho place. Then their pho orders have a lot of meat with an even amount of noodles. I don't ever remember being able to finish their xtra large bowl. Defintely get the egg rolls!!!
