It's Common Sense – I have a golden rule when trying out a new noodle house. If a)a person of Vietnamese decent did not bring you to the noodle house or b)if there are no people of Vietnamese decent in the restaurant, you might want to find another noodle house to frequent. For me, both a and b were the case, so I found a new noodle house close to my workplace that is both reputable and has a wide variety of inexpensive delicacies for me to try. Best Pho in Houston – It's the broth. Slightly sweet and spicy. Hint of star anise and other exotic spices. The best Pho i have ever eaten. The service and staff are very friendly.
The Best Pho in Houston – Gone many times and will continue to go. The service is always great; usually have the same waiter. The Pho (soup) is the best. Its not too oily like some places... I don't like it when I have to watch grease from the broth float around on the top. Produce is always fresh -very essential for great pho. Also recommend their "New York Strip" plate.
Great Pho – This is a great little place for Pho and other traditional Vietmanese dishes. The food is extremely inexpensive and very fresh and tasty. My only issue with the place is that I'm a night owl and it closes at 9pm.
