I love Philz and was super happy when they opened one here. I took off a stars because there's a huge difference between the morning and afternoon/evening crew. I typically get my coffee around 7-8am, or I sometimes will come by around 4 or 5. The morning crew is always energetic, friendly, and the drinks are fantastic. The evening crew is nice too, but I've been probably 8 times and they've gotten my order incorrect all 8 times! I don’t quite get the hype. Before November, I had never tried Philz Coffee, but I’m always up for checking out a new coffee spot. I’ve now been twice, each time ordering a different cold drink, and honestly… it was just okay. The first time, I tried the Winter Bliss Cold Brew—nothing special, but not bad. Last week, I gave the Honey Haze a shot, and while it was a little too sweet for my taste, it was still fine. I'm exactly 50/50 on good to poor experiences here. I did a Door Dash order, one drink hot, one drink iced. When I picked them up, I could not tell which was which-- neither had ice and both were room temperature. I picked it up at EXACTLY my pickup time. Really hard to justify spending $20 on this.
