It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust but when you do you want to make sure people know. Phil is not only a very reliable and honest man he is a super nice guy, he goes out of his way to make sure you understand what needs to be done on your vehicle.
Heard about him through a friend. Had good things to say so I took my 3500 dodge to him when it started acting up. He tells me the transmission is shot and that I need a new one which would cost me 4400$. I was like holy shit. He then shows me the pan which had metal shavings on the magnet. Quit a few. I just want to share something pretty amazing that happen to us yesterday. I was on the way to Nashville to pick Jackson up from therapy, when my car started putting. Luckily I made it to the therapy center before it broke down. A fellow parent who knows about cars, helped me come to the realization that it was my transmission that was acting up. Phil is as honest as anyone I've met in any trade. I keep my cars a long time, and have offered him work on cars that he thought didn't need it, not knowing any better myself. He more often than not talks me out of fixing something. But when something need. Their shops is just great.
May be able to get the job done, however, terrible customer service. I wasn't able to afford the service I needed but I had been trying to find a place to take my vehicle. He (Phil) called me and threatened to push my truck in the middle of the street and said "Frankly, don't care whether it's legal or not." Hope others have a better experience.
Professional and honest is how we would describe this shop. Just had rear end differential work done on our 96 Dodge pick up. Truck is so quiet and drives like new again. We would recommend Phil's to everyone. Thank you.
I have used Phil's a couple times and they were great. I just called and ask Phil about a vehicle I was considering purchasing. Phil went above and beyond helping. I give these guys 5 stars.
Great Work and Honest – My 2000 Nissan Maxima's transmission started losing power and down shifting while driving. It was sporadic and I thought related to the heat and amount of driving I do. The car also has 200k miles on it. I was recommended to Phil's Transmission and told he was honest and up front. Absolutely Wonderful! – I have heard so many horror stories about the cost of having a transmission rebuilt/repaired. I was honestly dreading having my car towed to Phil?s Transmission.
