Been going here for years with my dad and they are GREAT, very honest and trustworthy. Phil does such a good job with great pricing & his wife is very sweet and helpful! She once gave me a ride because I was stuck and my car was being fixed. Phil explains everything to you and also allows you to make payments. Always great service! Highly recommend!!

Most amazing mechanic ever! Phil doesn't overcharge, and he doesn't try to get you to replace parts that don't need to be replaced. He also has great prices and explains everything--even to a woman with no understanding of cars!

Best service you will ever receive. Completely honest as compared to other mechanic business. Got some brake/rotor work done and I was charged way less than Buckys charged me for JUST brake pads. I've recommended this place to many people and they haven't been disappointed with the prices either.

What a tremendous ethical specimen. Me, my wife, and our kids broke down on I-5 between Federal Way and Fife on our way to Oregon, so we googled a shop near by and saw what incredible reviews Phil's Auto Care had. So i called them from the side of the free way. I spoke to Phil's wife Robin, what an incredibly nice lady, she said he was busy helping someone at the moment but that she could come pick us up and have our vehicle toed to the shop. We have been going to Phil for several years with all of our car care needs. He's always been very honest and explains anything we have questions about. He even tells you if repairs are necessary at that time and ways to save money on the repairs. I recommend him to everyone. We wouldn't want to take our vehicles any place else. I Googled: "auto repair electrical" in Tacoma and one of the places that came up was Phil's Auto Care Inc. I went straight there because of an emergency electrical repair needed to my truck. They were kind enough to get me in on that day on a moments notice. I had a parasitic draw(power drain) that had me stumped. The truck would not let the alternator charge the battery. I have been going to Phil's for a few years now. I have never had even the slightest suspicion of him overcharging me. In fact, he is great at fixing the problem thoroughly without trying to sell a bunch of stuff that isn't really needed. Now I have my 79 year old mom, my kids, and a bunch of my church going there and they are all pleased. This the first time ever that I have written an online review but I felt if anyone deserves kudos, it's Phil and his wife.

I have been getting my car serviced at Phil's Auto Care for a couple of years. Whenever the car needs something more than routine service, Phil has carefully explained what was needed and why in terms I could understand. The work has been done promptly and well. They are pretty neat people, fun to talk to and good to do business with.

The only thing I know about my vehicle is where the gas goes and where to take it when it's gonna take more than gas to keep it running. I drive a 96 Mazda B-series with 190,000 miles on it, live in Tacoma, commute to Tukwilla (and back) 5-6 days a week, and the ONLY reason it's made it this long is because of Phil and his team at Phil's Auto Care.
