I had my first visit with Dr. Phillogene yesterday, and I must say I was very impressed. He has excellent bedside manners, truly cares for his patients, and made me feel very comfortable. I went with my aunt, and he was so good that I even considered switching doctors myself. However, the front desk staff is a major concern. I was skeptical of the negative reviews, but they were proven right. This place DOES NOT ANSWER THIER PHONES AT ALL. Not for Doctors, pharmacies, nor patients. The girls at the front desk are also rude. Dr. Philogene is actually a good doctor but I'd rather poop on my hands and clap before dealing with this place.
The secretaries are EXTREMELY rude! I called to make an appointment for my aunt and this is the doctor listed on her insurance card which is perfect because he speaks French and my aunt doesn’t speak English. I was told I can’t make an appointment so I need to call the insurance and get another doctor. 1. That’s absolutely ridiculous. If Medicaid chooses the doctor, there should be exceptions for those patients. 2. It is NOT easy finding doctors that speak French. Those secretaries speak to you like you’re bothering them. Their office never answers their phones nor return calls after leaving a voice call. It's to the point that my insurance company and my pharmacy are constantly calling me, frustrated not getting in contact with the doctor's staff.
I realized why I stopped coming here. The office personnel is still rude . After all these years , no one picks up the phone and when they do, they are still rude. Stop answer your question and answer what the client is asking for
