Great produce, great customer service
I shopped at reading terminal for decades but recently disability has made that an occasional treat. I never could stand supermarkets for meat and produce, and was getting very discouraged about even cooking. Philly Foodworks delivers fresh local, sustainable groceries to you once a week; no subscription, no giant csa boxes. It’s revived my cooking interests and is certainly worth it.
I've been a customer for about 6 months now and I LOVE IT. I get the harvest box and a dozen eggs -- I'll get a sourdough every few weeks, the apple cider donuts were AMAZING when available, and the fish has been deliciously fresh! Me and my family are trying new, seasonable veggies and it's been a hit all around! I found Philly Foodworks as a result of the latest food safety issues nationwide. I am so glad I did. While the prices are a bit high, so are the prices at the grocery store, but the quality is significantly better with Philly Foodworks. I am only two orders in, but have already fallen in love with the service. Corn, cantaloupe, and tomatoes have been the standouts so far. Philly Foodworks my beloved - truly I haven't bought vegetables anywhere else since I signed up with them. The convenience of having fresh local produce of a quality that I can't find in the supermarket chains around me is unparalled!
