RecommendedSo much nicer than going to a big box chain store. And they always have whatever I need. In fact some things, like light bulbs, they have better variety than Lowe’s. Phillips is also my go-to place for propane refills and you get a full 20 pounds of propane for less than Lowe’s charges for a 15-pound tank exchange. I’ve shopped at the Delmar location for 20 years, and it’s nice to know they are still here and doing curbside pickup during the current covid crisis.

Highly recommend Phillips Hardware. We called them last night - they picked up our snow blower this morning and had it back with a new auger belt and a tune up this afternoon right before the snow started!

My new hardware store! Visited the Schenectady location for the first time today and it had everything I needed. So grateful for a local, neighborhood alternative to the mammoth, impersonal box stores. See you again soon!
I love shopping at the Waterford Phillips Hardware store. The manager is very helpful and polite. She is one of the main reasons I will continue to shop at this location, and continue to spend my money with Phillips Hardware. I would rather travel a few minutes out of the way to enjoy the help I receive from all the staff there. Keep doing a great job.
