We inherited the house from our mother. As siblings we wanted to make sure we all knew the true value of the house we’d be selling together. So we got these people to do an estimate. We were told the house was worth $315,000. After more than a year we finally got an offer for $270,000. I know a lot of the value of houses can change but I think a$45k difference is way to much.
This company is a joke. It took them over two months to get my appraisal back. I had to call over 5 different times to get the appraisal and ask for my money back since they were not providing it in a timely manner. Then for the appraisal he compared homes that were not even similar to ours. He listed facts about our home wrong and stated the value of our had dropped by $25K in three years.
