My Husband and I have lived at Phillippi Plaza since May 2023 and have never had a problem till now. We got our rental bill for August 1 and we ended up paying 100 dollars more for our rent but they also charged me a late fee of 88.00 dollars, which my rent has never been late. I payed my rent on August 3 2025. Not late but when I told them at the office about the difference they just lied said they would reimburse me the difference. That never happened. I love this apartment space!!! Tia has been SO amazing and helpful throughout my move-in process (and still after I got settled in)! She is an angel, and I feel extremely blessed to have her help and support throughout everything! I would definitely recommend living here. The neighbors are great, and it’s a very calming place to live. Hopefully Tia gets a raise or something, because she is such an amazing person and helper!😅 She deserves it 100%!! Apparently there is no management here. No one answers the phone, responds to emails or returns calls. I made an appointment online to do a tour and discuss renting a place, no one showed up. I left several messages, since no one ever answers the phone, its been a month, no one has called me back. Really doesn't instill confidence here, if you can't even get a hold of someone to lease an apartment.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I lived at this complex for 4 years. It used to be a great place until table rock residential took over in 2020. After that it was all downhill they are completely unprofessional and hard to deal with. Trying to get them to respond is an even larger problem. While I lived there I had a conflict with another tenant who did not like my dogs and would harass me and my dogs. This community went downhill quickly. My hope is with new management Avenue 5 that it comes back to when people called it home for many years. Making money on investments is important but not at the expense of the residents who are just as important as your investment. They pay good money for a safe place to live. When management ignores the resident what you get is a bad reputation and high vacancy. As a former resident of 18 1/2 years I miss the community that once was my home.
