I haven’t lived at the island for some years now, and I have had both good and really really lousy experiences there over the years. Grateful to both Kay and Kevin, (practise nurses 2009-2013) for their patience with both of my sons, and myself. Some of the doctors were bloody excellent when I was last there, and others not only unpleasant, but extremely but overtly ‘politely rude’. What an amazing place. We arrived late evening. My teen had severe ear and tooth pain. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a small town had 24 hour medical service. We were served instantly by two very friendly and efficient staff staff. We were then taken straight through to see the Dr, who was really nice and very efficient, diagnosed the problem, sorted the medication and had us on hour way.
