I was looking for a doctor because I was having foot pain, and I’m so glad I came across Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists! Dr. Applegate has excellent bedside manner and great sense of humor. He took the time to thoroughly explain the cause of my foot pain and recommended inserts since I’m on my feet all day. Since following his recommendations, I am no longer having any problems. I highly recommend Dr. Applegate to anyone looking for exceptional foot care in the Katy / Cypress area.

I was under the care of Dr. Philip Applegate for several months and unfortunately, I determined that his care was not for me. While we initially leveraged a non-surgical approach due to my high blood glucose (no fault of his at all) but no plan or strategy in place left me concerned for my foot and ankle. I was in a boot up to my knee from late June until September! I sought a second opinion from another highly recommended Podiatrist, and it was the best decision I could have made. #advocateforyourself
Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Applegate is an expert in establishing that patient doctor rapport and he is very informative. He provides options and draws pictures of the options for a visual. The office was very clean and music was soothing. They are punctual and have early am hours so I did not have to take too much time off from work in the am. I would highly recommend Dr. Applegate and his staff.
Dr. Applegate is the best! My teenager has had recurring toenail issues that have required procedures that have all been unpleasant and never fixed the issue. Dr. Applegate took great care of my son and was so great and reassuring with him throughout the whole procedure. My son hates these procedures but this was by far the most pleasant experience. So glad we found this Dr and group. Everyone in the office is so nice and courteous.
