Dr. Winters is a wonderful and caring dentist. His office manager, Lynn, is most helpful with insurance processing. For expensive procedures not covered by insurance, office is very accommodating with financial arrangements to pay the balance off over time. Dr. Zaharis, who also works in the office, is also a wonderful dentist. No one can clean teeth the way he does...gentle but thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Winters/Zaharis.

He is by far one of the best dentists ever. He knows his work and he is a highly skilled craftsman when it comes to making crowns. He is one of the last of his breed, he handcrafts his crowns from start to finish. His office is nothing fancy, he doesn't mess around with gimicks. He was a professor at UCSF and is fast and right on target!!! I would only go to Dr. WInters, he is the BEST!!! I went to him because he was so incredible. The best crowns in the world, done on premise and perfect. I had been a patient for 8 years and have had more work than I would like to admit to.. Dr. Winters came in on days off and was very supportive and understanding during all the procedures. His office staff is friendly and easy-going and very helpful. AFter cleanings the Dr. is always willing to review your exam. Honest and fair, highly recommend.

After moving to the bay ares and being pressured by one dentist, and disappointed in a second, Dr. Winters was recommended to me and I have never thought to look for anyone else even though his office is 45 minutes away. His no-pressure matter-of-fact approach is far different from some other dentists who appear to build their practices using methods taught at "how to make the most money you can from your patients" seminars. And, yes, these seminars exist!

Dr Winters is wonderful! He is calm, professional, friendly, and very gentle. He is extremely competent. He is a good communicator and very clearly lays out options and their implications. He is also very patient. Although he is not a children's dentist, he once filled two cavities for my 4 year old when we were in between kids' dentists. My daughter was terrified of the shot and he let her wait in the chair for an hour until she was ready! When she finally let him do the shot, she didn't even feel it. Dr. Winters and his staff are totally helpful, good people, and very professional. My family and I have gone to Dr. Winters for years, and have never had a negative experience with his work or that of his assistants. Everyone at the office is very friendly, and they're all skilled at imparting advice without sounding condescending. Highly recommended.
