Great facility, lots of areas to take a break which is amazing when you spend the whole day here. Complimentary muffins, cookies, coffee and water and the option to purchase many other snacks and meals which was super convenient. several sitting areas, TV rooms, a dining room and a play room for kids. The staff was amazing and attentive, not only the nurses but even the kitchen staff was polite and understanding of the environment which was very comforting. A huge disappointment. Although this is my first experience with them, it will also be my last. I was truly on my own with the exception of a few visits. You are told to call 27/7 for support and guidance, in the first few calls you will get that BUT after that is seems kind of pointless as I've learned. I was told as my sister was nearing end of life that someone would be here with me, that wasn't true! I was truly on my own. ACTUALLY RESEARCH WHAT HOSPICE DOES & LOOK AT BAD REVIEWS! The system is built so that if the state fails, it’s ‘procedure.’ If an organization fails, it’s ‘an oversight.’ But if a family caregiver struggles, it’s suddenly a violation. That’s not protection, it’s hypocrisy. Care is supposed to bring comfort, not confusion. Yet hospice routinely confuses neglect with ‘standard practice.’ They preach comfort care while prescribing medications that strip away a patient’s last remaining abilities.
