Dr. Scolaro did a total thyroidectomy on my (at the advice of my endo). I didn't have ANY hoarseness after the surgery. After watching videos online, I don't know how in the world he is so skilled at not only avoiding the nerves that control speech, etc, but at avoiding the parathyroid glands. He is an excellent surgeon. Very experienced (I believe he told me he does 4-5 a week for over 20 years, that's a lot!).

It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them.
