So obviously nobody likes parking maids… but even by the standards of city parking authorities, they’re pretty bad. They towed and impounded my car with no warning slip ever put on the windshield, and it was parked totally legally. I had taken the plate off for a short term because I was in the process of selling it, and without even a warning they called it abandoned and towed it away. Picture this. It’s your first trip to Philly from a rather far away state and are quite enjoying yourself and what the city has to offer. Go to look for parking and interpret a mishmash of signs for parking. As per translating the signs it seemed reasonable that I most likely parked correctly. Paid for parking. Came back from the show I attended and no car to be found. Hey, just to let you guys know they tow All wheel drive cars on its rear wheels. This damages your transmission :(
