Had to get my parking permit updated. ***Prepared ahead of time and brought all the appropriate documents*** and there were no issues. Had my new permit in 5 minutes. In the span of being at the parking permit office for 20 minutes I watched 2 grown men yell at the staff. One man didn’t have the appropriate documents and the other didn’t read on the website the change in policy on temporary parking permits. Don’t blame the staff for you being ill prepared. And act your age and treat staff with respect. Y’all are adults.
It took a long time for someone to come out to the counter. But the lady who eventually worked with me was really nice and said she’d fix the issue with my account and issue me a permit right away. And she did!

poorest organization both in website and front face customer service in PA.
Philadelphia Parking Authority measures their success, by the massive amounts of money they make from penalties and hearing fines. Philadelphia Parking Authority's money intake ($$$) distracts from their epic failure to in any way address/resolve parking issues in Philadelphia. If they were successful, they wouldn't make a cent. Collecting massive amounts of money means they not controlling parking, just monetizing it.
Philadelphia Parking Authority Permit Office has a 3.2 star rating with 260 reviews.
