They're really rude here. Maybe, they're not rude to all individuals but definitely to a certain group. I wouldn't refer or recommend based off my experience. Very cocky and arrogant. I couldn't even imagine giving birth with a midwife who doesn't show humility and kindness to everyone. Birth workers should be held at a higher standard when it comes to kindness and bedside care. You have one time to make a good impression. Sometimes the first will be your last.

I have immense gratitude for the Philadelphia Midwife Collective and the care I received during my pregnancy, labor, and beyond. I felt so supported and safe with all of the midwives, and I never felt judged for any of my preferences or decisions. PMC was an excellent fit for me since I was interested in support for a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC). I had two wonderful hospital births with Mac in 2023 after risking out of the birthing center with LifeCycle late in my first pregnancy and then again with PMC from the start of my next pregnancy in 2025 with Payj. Both midwives helped me make informed choices about my risk tolerance and the decisions available to me while pregnant. I found them both extremely knowledgeable, helpful, steadfast, grounding, and assertive in making my needs known to the other healthcare professionals in the room during labor and delivery. I have had 2 successful homebirths with the midwives at PMC and I adore the team with my whole heart! They gave me the confidence I needed to have my first home birth back in 2022. They are all super knowledgeable about every aspect of keeping me and my baby(s) healthy throughout pregnancy and labor with evidence based practices. They made me feel safe and supported at each prenatal visit.
