PFW's goal is to provide a broad range of hands-on classes for woodworkers of all levels, including beginners. Throughout the year, furniture making courses are offered on weekends and in the evenings. I took the Basics 1 course with Craig and Greg and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is interested in woodworking or anyone with some experience who wants to improve on their woodworking basics. Despite having some experience and having built a few pieces of furniture and boxes previously, I felt like I learned something during each class. Craig Stevens is a knowledgeable, patient, and approachable teacher as well as an accomplished woodworker. I highly recommend taking a class at PFW and thoroughly enjoyed the bench on bench project course I took there.
