this is the place you want to go. they have the coolest frames in stock and you can get them the same day if the lenses are in stock. be prepared to pay the piper though. spending $1,000.00 for a pair of eyeglasses is steep. if you can afford it, buy 3 or 4 pair and ask what they can do. at these prices, they could give YOU A DISCOUNT OF $500.00 OR 600.00 . the markup is 2000% so they will do it. just see glen and ask him how many sq. ft. his house is. it's disgusting. they will get you if you let them. just tell them what y... read more
One morning I woke up and went to work and that afternoon, my glasses broke. It was my ony pair and I couldnt see. During my luch break, I was able to go to Cohen's have an exam to update my prescription and have glasses made in an hour. I was really happy about this experience because I got a pair that I really liked and I got a free back up pair- all in the same day. The staff was very helpful and knowlegeable. Not being able to see could of been a disaster but I am very pleased that they were able to help me so quickly.
They put you on hold forever and don't call you back. They told me on the phone that it would only take two to three days to have my glasses ready and it took more than a week. They seem nice but after you pay they are not nice anymore.
I have been going to Phila Eyeglass Labs for over 15 years and have always had a wonderful experience. The doctors there never rush you through the exam and the front staff is always accommodating and extremely friendly. My whole family goes there.

This Place is what Park Slope really needs They have a Doctor everyday and a selection that can satisfy most of the mixed people in Park Slope. I just waked in inquired about getting an exam and WOW an hour later my new prescription glasses were ready they have in house edging so you don't have to wait for it to be sent out and then brought back. I wish them lots of luck and success. Its nice to have good ,professional quick service in these times where people are looking to cut corners.
No Stars= Worst customer service EVER! What is it called when someone takes your money and doesn't give you anything in return? Oh yeah... Robbery! Thats what will happen to you here!
