Dr Ecker took time, patience and modified his treatment of me to make me less hesitant to proceed. He was able to provide knowledgeable office staff who quickly gained approval of a new drug for me with my insurance- which is very difficult these days. I recommend him above all others! He is my 5th dermatologist for this problem and by far the best with office staff to match!
Dr. Ecker and team are amazing. Highly recommend for both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
He's a pill pusher & talks down to you if you question the prescription recommends. Just because "everyone else just takes it" and "we prescribe it to a lot of people", I was not willing to risk damage of my liver or any other horrific side-effects from a pill in order to heal my skin. He offered no other options. Further research from Mayo Clinic & other reputable resources suggest other therapies before resorting to taking dangerous meds.
Love the in office staff - think Beth and Dr Ecker are the greatest - 5 stars!! However, the new phone tree going through Pinnacle is AWFUL (out of state) - just spent 18 minutes on hold - that was fine - offices get busy - spent the next 20 minutes making 2 appointments - have never had such a difficult time when talking to in office staff. Kept being told there are protocols that need to be followed. Were very basic uncomplicated appts that I've made yearly over the last 10-12 years as a patient here. Will drive to the off... read more
