I was referred to Dr Aiken after my eye doctor noticed some swelling on my optic nerve. I had multiple visits to Dr Aiken over a period of two years. Every appointment he would tell me that I needed to get a gym membership. I told him I was doing hour long cardio sessions three times a week and was active and that no other doctor had issues with my weight. He treated me like I was an idiot and didn’t know my own body. Dr. Aitken saw me in December 2015 when I was admitted for severe, acute double vision. In general, he was very thorough in ordering several tests to try to rule out possible causes. Unfortunately, in doing so, he made a mistake, that, if it wasn't caught, could have been fatal. I was and still am on Warfarin, clearly noted on my chart. Nonetheless, Dr. Aitken ordered a lumbar puncture.
