When I got baker acted and got sent here, the floor was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and the other kids there were "having a really bad time" which didn't really make anything better. The cleanest place there was probably the bathroom. I wish I went to a different one, though I was forced there by my school, so I didn't really have a choice :\
My name is Douglas Burnette. I was Baker acted to Eleos and spent 5 days there. Perhaps the most Mickey Mouse operated place on earth. Staff are mostly juveniles with no training other that taking vitals. Zero communication skills or professionalism. They discharged me to a shelter that had no bed space. Worst care I have ever received.
Absolutely awful establishment that proves the wider system is broken. They don’t do what they state in their mission that’s listed on the website and ultimately lets down families who truly need help with their youth. They turn children away who are in crisis which is an absolute shame. This is why we have no hope to save these kids because of establishments like this one who claim to help but truly don’t.
I am never wanting to go there again
