I love our vet. We took one of our cats there a couple years ago when she was in a cat fight. They got us in that day, took care of her and didn’t charge a fortune. The same happened with our dog today. I called after noticing he has scratched a growth so much that it’s bleeding. I was scared. I’m not ready for more chaos right now. Even amidst the Covid-19 pandemic they got our beloved Cole right in. They took care of the owners as well by having us call when we arrived. We brought our 10 yr. old hound in for a dental last week. I had a list of questions to ask and Kim (tech) answered all them before I could ask them. She put our minds at ease as she explained the whole process. It was suggested to have Dr. Wiggins oversee the dental because she is more familiar with anesthesia protocols for greyhounds due to their low body fat, slow heart rate etc. Our boy has recovered so well and I can't thank PVH enough. ❤ (All 3 Dr.'s are great; they have treated all 3 of our boys with so much compassio... read more
if I could give it a half star I would but that wasn't a option, I wouldn't bring a stuffed animal to this place after the experience I had. The attorney general and better business bureau has been contacted and the wheels are in motion. sad, sad way to run a business of any sort, let alone one that directly effect a living mammal's health and well being. I have been with Phelps Vet since my first English springer spaniel in 1991! Fast forward 6 dogs and 5 cats later I truly appreciated the service and care!
