The washing machine in my building has been broken for two years but the building management subleases the washing machines to a third party company so that they can claim no responsibility for the incompetence. While applying to move in I told every person in the office that I spoke with that I had a sensitivity to loud cars at night; and they chose to put me in a unit that faces the loudest road in the neighborhood. Move in was ok, except the ice maker was just sitting in the freezer not hooked up. The sliding glass door is a rough closer and the screen door looks like someone kicked it in. The shower head is corroded and looks dirty. There are two birds nests on the patio. These are things that should have been noticed before anyone moved in. Skylar in the office and one of the assistant managers were helpful in getting me a storage locker in a hurry. Today is only my first full day so we will see how things unfold.
