Excellent care, wonderful staff – We have been bringing our pets to Arrowhead Animal Hospital for more than 16 years and have had nothing but positive experiences there. Dr. Pfretzschner tended to our Irish Wolf Hound and our yellow labrador through most of their adult lives and into old age. Overpriced and Mediocre Care – We have been taking our dog to this practice for the past three years. Never have I felt as if I have been taken advantage of more in my life. The doctors in this practice will charge you for an exam that never exists. They don't give you the same doc unless you request them. I recently took my dog in for a thyroid test and they charged me $41for consultation on top of the actual fee to draw ($20) and the test ($76). A $137 charge for a simple thyroid test.
