I tried this dentist as I moved from my dentist of 30 years because they didn't take insurance, although they always used the customary charges when at all possible. 1) My cleaning was very rough – I hurt for the rest of the day. 2) My cleaning contained an item that the insurance didn't pay for. When I asked the dentist office, they said they had pre-authorized the work and that they had good faith that it would be covered; I checked with the insurance co and they have no record of a pre-auth.
