During my cleaning today, I was informed that I was required to get X-rays, despite having no symptoms warranting them. I informed the lady who was about to clean my teeth that I didn't want X-rays, as I have had cancer and several close members of my family have passed from cancer, and I didn't want unneeded radiation going into my body. Note: just for the record, I am not some tin-hat-wearing nut, and if I had any symptoms or any medical condition (even as small as a suspected cavity), I would agree to an X-ray. Dr Pfaffinger is an awesome dentist. My daughter had an after hours tooth issue that was causing a lot of pain. He responded while away camping with his family and made time during the weekend to address it for us. He was kind, communicative, and gentle along the way. Above and beyond on all fronts. Highly recommend and super grateful for people like him in our community.
