We used to love P.F Chang’s but after our experience tonight we will not be returning. The manager was micromanaging the employees and not a single waitress/waiter seemed comfortable around her. The hostess even made a comment about their new manager as she sat us and seemed stressed over it, I honestly felt bad for the entire group of staff. I don't know what happened, but today I ordered Kung Pao Chicken like always and it was horrible. Borderline not edible. The chicken was almost all breading, and it was so overcooked that the chicken itself was crunchy. I had to throw it all away after a few bites. Maybe they had an off night, but with how much it costs, I wouldn't risk ordering from this place again.
Christopher was a phenomenal server. He was very polite, helpful, and the service was quick. He answered our questions, gave amazing recommendations and was overall very personable. Chris made the entire experience so much better - I was celebrating my anniversary with my girlfriend and the entire dinner couldn’t have been better. I could pick up my order easily, and the food was good. Always good choice!
I got the Mongolian beef and lettuce wraps with a side of hot and sour soup. The portions were way tighter than a mom and pop Chinese place but I was hoping they'd earn points on freshness and flavor. Unfortunately the lettuce wraps were very bland which was a real shame because they're the house specialty and why I wanted to try pf changs in the first place.
