Please remember that boycotting PetSmart stores because of ONE group's issues does irreparable damage to the thousands of other groups that adopt out hundreds of thousands of homeless animals (collectively) in PetSmart stores.
Don't support this petsmart. They have discontinued their contract of 11th Hour Rescue and gave them 30 days notice to get out all rescue animals. Such a disgrace to do this in a short time period. Boycotting petsmart.
It is terrible that you are throwing out 11th hour shelter. and on short notice. with all of those animals with no where to go. i will never shop at your store again, and make sure this circulates social media
Without Eleventh Hour Rescue, there's no reason to go to PetSmart! Even if there was a justifiable reason for terminating the long term and mutually beneficial relationship, the least disruptive way to handle it would have been with a transition plan. Throwing an animal rescue out with barely 30 days notice is inexcusable and heartless.
I will never be shopping here again. All those poor eleventh hour animals they are kicking out!!!! Plus their groomers are dirty and very unfriendly with the animals yanking them by their necks I'd give 0 stars if possible!
I extremely disappointed to learn that you have terminated your partnership with 11th Hour Rescue and forcing them to leave your mount Olive NJ store with only 2 weeks notice. Correction-30 days notice only because it's required by the contract. (You only wanted to give them 2 weeks!). We have 8 pets at my home. 3 of them are 11th Hour Rescue pets. We spend a lot on food, supplies and toys. Your stores will no longer be profiting from our business. I hope that you and your parent company reconsider.
You are disgusting excuses for human beings. There is a special place in Hell for your company. How dare you give an organization 30 days to vacate your store. 30 days to find homes and fostering for 100's of animals and more on the way. Like their lives weren't terrible enough. I will NEVER EVER shop at a petsmart ever again in my life and I will bend over backwards to make sure the people I know don't either. I hope you got a decent price for selling your soul.
I will never buy anything from any PetSmart store again if they go through with their efforts to evict 11th Hour from their Mount Olive store. I assume this is part of some cost cutting initiative by your new private equity owners. PetSmart has enjoyed my business in large part due to their commitment to support the community and local pet rescue groups.
