RecommendedMy dog got loose in the parking lot today. And he is a jerk - doesn’t come when called, especially when there is a feral cat to chase and a stinky detention pond to swim in. One of the associates, Savannah, came out to help me. She was patient and went out of her way to help me get him back on leash. I love PetSmart at Citadel Mall on Sam Rittenberg Blvd. They have the best selection of pet foods and supplies at competitive prices of any pet store around.
Always pleased with the service and great selection of pet supplies. They stock a wide variety of pet foods as well. I definitely recommend the PetSmart at Citadel Mall.
Christina is an awesome pet trainer! We are so happy that we are taking puppy and intermediate classes with her! It's clear she loves her job and loves helping people train their pets! Highly, highly recommend!
Never go here for grooming. Took my dog there years ago and they shaved a piece of SKIN off her chest bigger than a half dollar. Said oh by the way we nicked her a little as I was going out the door. They almost forgot! Bought clippers and have been grooming her myself since then. Save the money and do it yourself! You would have to TRY really hard to harm your dog as bad as they did mine, I've never hurt her anywhere near what they did.
Grooming not recommended! Took my 2 dogs to be groomed today, 1 returned a hot mess. Looks like they never even bathed her! Ears are dirty (outside fur) and muzzle was trimmed uneven. They barely serviced the 1 dog..... Contacted the salon and they offered to redo her ears if I returned., 2 dogs were already in the car after a 3.5 hour salon visit and I would have gone back but the two dogs are tough to handle by myself. Pet Smart has everything you need for a dog or a cat. The one in west Ashley has a great parking lot.Convenient.
They never seem to have feeders in stock for the animals they sell in the store. I can never get crickets, feeder fish, or the frozen mice the size I need. Maybe somebody's not ordering enough, but it seems ridiculous do not carry items in stock. I think I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on.
