Adopter Have adopted 4 dogs from Pets and People since 1992. Hard working volunteers who care deeply for the animals in their care. Strict rules to adopt because they are looking for forever homes. They are always looking for volunteers willing to spend time socializing with the animals.
A good place to find your new best friend This is a no kill animal shelter that rescues pets from being euthanized at other shelters. Pets and People is staffed by volunteers who really care about the animals and spend time with each one.

I feel good about donating items to this thrift store because I know that the animals benefit greatly from every item sold. I have found the volunteers to be helpful in unloading when I have lots to donate, and the ladies who work in the front are friendly.

I got there as soon as they were opening. I had a car load of stuff to donate. Two women opened the door and were pulling out a table and I said “l can help” and the “...b..”said “the way you can help me is to get out of my way”. I got out of the way and left. I will NEVER go there again. Needless to say, I will take my GOOD donations elsewhere. (This was a big deal to me because I love animals)
