I followed Dr. Walker from her previous place of employment to the new hospital she opened. She is the only veterinarian I would trust to keep my animals overnight. Her passion and compassion for each one of my pets won us over as clients. I usually have ten or more dogs and as many cats, each one is a member of my family. Dr. Walker and her staff took care of my pets for the 4yrs I was in Colorado. I miss her terribly, we are in Florida now.
Dr. Walker has taken exceptional care of my kiddos, and me! She has been very thorough with my cases, as well as with the people I have recommended her to. She and her staff make me feel at home. She really cares about her trade, which carries over to my kiddos, and me!
Dr. Walker is a horrible vet. She prescribed ivermectin for our mixed breed dog without telling us that it was toxic to some breeds and that a mixed breed should be tested for a particular mutant gene; we could have done the test for $70. Instead, she went for her "drug of choice" and poisoned our dog who spent a week in a coma at the emergency vet hospital before crashing and dying. Her comment was "how bizarre". Dr. Walker and all employees of Pets First Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs provide exceptional medical knowledge and care to animals. Dr. Walker is someone who has truly found her calling, her passion in life and is excelling! Thank you VERY much for the care and compassion you have provided to our pets over the years! WOOF!!!
