Many problems with this office, to painful to re-count but I believe I should have sued them for malpractice.
I won’t take my cat back to Pets First. They treated my cat for an “allergy” for over a year until I finally got a second opinion. It was cancer and she had to have surgery the next day to remove it. Luckily, they were able to save her eye, but had Pets First done something about it earlier, it wouldn’t have been as bad.
Pets First are the only vet I've seen since moving to Chicago with my senior cats, and for the last 5 years they've been incredible. Every single staff member is caring and the doctors (Shout out to Dr. Erin & Dr. Matt) have been straight forward about our options and what they'd do in my shoes which is very comforting.
I can't say enough good things about Pets First. Ever doctor I have seen with my dog, every nurse, tech and front staff has been wonderful. I've never felt rushed, and have always gotten the best advice and direction. My dog, Rocco, loves them so much every time we pass the office he sits in front of the door hoping I'll bring him in.
We've been taking our Frenchie to Pets First since we brought him home over 3 years ago. Since then the staff has been nothing but amazing! While our primary is Dr. Mitchell (the best) we've also seen pretty much every doc they have there for some reason or another (there's always something wrong with Frenchies lol). When our guy was a pup he got a really nasty paw infection that required bi-weekly bandage changes and left him in quite a bit of pain initially. I am terrible with words, but I had to share this. Nothing can make losing a beloved pet any less heart wrenching, but having my vet and his staff by my side through it all made me feel a lot less alone. They were all so caring and kind and concerned for Pony Boy. We tried EVERYTHING for months to help my poor, little guy. I've been through some pretty tough times in my life, but losing Pony Boy a month ago knocked me down in a way I couldn't have prepared for.
