Love their food. I remember going here since I was a kid. I pretty much always order the hot roast beef. It's always good! Servers have always been friendly.
I usually LOVE Petrows! Wth?! They changed the beef gravy!! It was the best gravy I've had, and they CHANGED it!
Petrow's is an institution in Omaha! Great onion rings, burgers, chicken fried steak, ice cream, etc. Family friendly and reasonable prices. Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have eaten there and that's quite an endorsement in and of itself!
This used to be a family favorite, now it is on the never again list. The food, with the exception of the ice cream is not what it used to be. My hot beef arrived not hot and had little to no flavor. I have had better TV dinners. It is unfortunate that this neighborhood fixture is afraid to stay true to what they are. We will not be back....EVER.
Breakfast today was great! Best Eggs Benedict in town! Can't wait to bring our working Maltese dog, Elvis, to patio open house.
