almost 25 yr ago I was taken to Alb Med with a fractured lumbar, 4 yr later Ct scan revealed that I had a pinched nerve that created a problem with my right knee giving out. Ms Petronis found the problem. and Dr Dirisio confirmed. with surgery and a short stay I'm still on my feet. Kudos to the team!!
I went to the office of Dr. Derisio for an appt and he was unavailable. Thus, I was seen by Karen Petronis, nurse practitioner . After some annoyance that the dr was unavailable, I settled in to the idea of seeing Karen. Not only did she calm my frazzled nerves about him being unavailable; she gave me her time, listened to me, explained things to me and encouraged me to keep up the work I was doing.
