I signed up for Petro Oil Services’ Smart Pay plan based entirely on their recommendation and calculations. Their representative reviewed my usage and assured me that $140 per month would cover my heating costs. I was specifically told that I would pay $140 per month and they would continue delivering oil as needed, eliminating the surprise of large bills. WARNING !!!!! Zero stars!! Worst experience ever!!!! don’t use this company!!! First we got with them they said they offer a monthly payment plan so you don’t get wiped out in the winter then we found out they don’t until you have been there for a year or you can make payment in a 6 month payment plan of there estimated usage which was ridiculously higher than our actual usage. *PETRO WILL SUE YOU* My experience with Petro Home Services is genuine and on public record in Rhode Island. PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS PROVIDER. They currently operate in 12 states and I’m sharing this review across platforms to WARN others — especially first-time homeowners.
