She's fine if you just want someone who will write prescriptions and refer you to other people. She usually listens to what you say and creates a welcoming, safe space. But she some of her info is out of date and she doesn't really *do* anything - she just refers you to other people.
I'm a therapist specializing in sleep issues so collaborating with primary care doctors is super important to me. I've been coordinating mutual patients with Dr. Kelsey for at least a year now and have been really impressed! She's responsive, thorough, and really wants to understand the problem from all angles.
Petra Kelsey, MD is an amazing doctor! She is kind, understanding, nonjudgmental and, responsive. She was thorough in ordering tests, sending out scripts, and following up with me on non-appointment days just to see how things were going. Most importantly though, she listened to what I was saying and developed an action plan. If you need a great doctor, I would recommend her!
We love working with Petra, she is amazing and delicate doctor.
