HORRIBLE. RUN AWAY. I have this coverage about 6 or 7 months. Attempted to make a claim for an ear infection my Golden Retriever has. Everything petplan does is an epic fail.runaround, long wait on the phone, they want your great grandfathers shoe size to process anything, just kidding, but you get the point. Money grabbing folks own this co. Please stay away.

First warning sign, you have to call to cancel. Second warning sign, they do not approve a claim with preventative care on it. Third warning sign, I have submitted multiple different claims and none have been approved for each of our two cats. So I am out over $1000 and have received 0 value.

I have had my insurance policies for many years for both my cats & dogs & sometimes my cases are a little more complicated than a normal claim & they require extra research. I spoke with Lindsey on November 19, 2021 & what an absolute joy she was to work with. She was very professional, patient & kind to me with my particular situation & the very best part was she seemed to care about my fur babies. Thank you Pet Plan for having someone like Lindsey to work with, she is a wonderful employee!!!

I don't usually write reviews, but felt that I had to in this case, as there is a lot of (justified) bad press about pet insurance. I started a Petplan policy for my two Schneagles (Alfred and Rosie) about four years ago, when they were puppies. The idea was that it would be good cover for when they got much older. Fast forward and Alfred was diagnosed Diabetic at only three years old. Multiple tests, and insulin, followed, and then soon afterwards he developed cataracts and pretty much went blind.
