Beautiful spot for events during the day. Dont book the venue for an event AFTER sunset because PPD officer Roper will cite you or even arrest you should use the well lit sidewalks in the plaza across the street. Should you avoid the using the plaza sidewalks, officer Roper will cite you for jaywalking. If officer Roper smells alcohol, now you are looking at a public intoxication or dui charge.
The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy event was fantastic! What a fun and different experience it was. The actors were phenomenal, the cocktails delicious and loved they are themed with the acts. On top of that we got to dress up in our Victorian goth attire. I highly recommend going if you get a chance
Enjoyable evening- the performed readings were Great - very theatrical. Really only liked first cocktail - the rest were a bit too fruity for my taste.
We enjoyed the show and drinks, a fantastic adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's work.
Wonder reciting of EAP poems. Very accurate and energetic.
