Voted as one of the top Pizza places in Chicago, it would be a cardinal sin to miss out on Pete's Pizza. The eye grabbing brick roof of the building soars over the North Western Avenue. With the vibe of a classy but simple diner, the place is known to serve some of the tastiest pizzas in Chicago, as shown on Rachael Ray Show, City Search and RestaurantsListing.com. BBQ Chicken, Wise Guy, Four Cheese and Taco Pizza are some of the most delicious and celebrated pizzas on the menu. You can also go for salads, sandwiches, burger... read more

A Longtime Favorite – I started going to Pete's in the late 70's when they were just a small place. I grew up eating their pizza. After I moved to the burbs, when in town I would always pick up one to take home. I like the good sized real sausage pieces rather than just a sprinkle, just right thin crust and the flavor of the sauce. I don't need mine too fancy. I've been to a lot of popular places in Chicago & the burbs that are good but Pete's will always be a favorite of mine unless they change too much. I live in Tx now an... read more
Mighty Good Pizza – I was born and raised in Chi-town loved anything about my fair city. and then I moved to california. but I still get back to chi every year. what is so good about pete's? THIS PLACE ROCKS!! it's just good pizza. the service is rockin, the food is way rockin, and it's just home to me. keep up the good work.
And the Title Goes To ... – ... Pete's, with the best thin-crust pizza I've had in many years of effortful sampling among the greats of Chicago pizza. Even if they are now part of the Suparossa chain, Pete's is what Pete's is, and that means they get two things dead right every time: the crust (crispt but just chewy enough to wrestle with a little bit) and sauce (bright, alive and tasting like it was made out of real tomatoes, with some acidic tanginess to it). Plus the delivery is quick, even for Logan Square, a good 3 mile... read more
mmmmm... Pete's – This is simply the best thin crust pizza in the city. I recently learned that Pete's was undergoing some changes, and I started to panic! My fears were put to rest when I was assured by the weathered delivery man (who has worked there for 12 years!) that the recipe shall not change. Whew!
So-so Italian food – In addition to pizza, this restaurant serves your standard, traditional Italian fare. Now, I grew up with a Sicilian grandmother who made her spaghetti sauce from scratch, using ingredients grown in her garden (tomatoes, basil, parsley, etc.). Whenever I eat Italian food, I compare the sauce to hers. Well, sorry to say this, but the sauce at Pete's isn't even close. It tastes rather bland and American. The one time I had pizza here it was forgettable, as well. If you don't mind mediocre Italian food, how... read more
PERFECT PIZZA – BEST SAUCE IN ALL OF CHICAGO. A TRUE THIN CRUST WITH TASTE (NOT LIKE CARDBOARD). THESE TWO THINGS ARE WHAT MAKE A GREAT PIZZA. TOPPINGS ARE AN ADDED BONUS. REAL SAUSAGE NOT A BALL OF GREASE.ALL TOPPINGS SEAM FRESH AND I LOVE THE SWEET ONIONS.
My Staple Delivery – Whenever I order a pizza, it's from Pete's. They make a great thin-crust pie and the ingredients are always good, especially the sausage. Be careful of getting garlic on your pizza though, because they use the raw kind and it's over-powering, even for garlic lovers. I also like collecting my 20 coupons for a free pizza.
