RecommendedPeterson and Smith handle all of my horses veterinary care, but I have to give a special thank you to Dr. Kent who saved my yearling Thoroughbred colt, Mighty Miracle, in May when he suffered a terrible colic resulting in surgery. I took my horse to Peterson and Smith in an Emergency when he started showing mild colic symptoms. They kept him overnight and told me they would call and update me. When I had not received an update by the next morning I drove up there to see my horse, when i got there he appeared to be doing better, but the vet in charge of his care, Dr. Seitz-Cherner was no where to be found even after we had been there for several hours. Peterson & Smith vets, vet tech and everyone else puts the horse first. They're great whether your horse is at clinic or seen at home. The best vet clinic around!
Everyone there is very nice and most helpful. The facility is spotlessly clean and beautiful. I would never hesitate to recommend this facility.
This is an awesome place! I live in nowhereville Central Florida and have tried for two years to find a vet that does farm visits. No luck, so, like many of us, I do for my own as best I can and pray nothing out of my reach will happen. Last night, my jenny, Stella, got choke. I called every vet near to find one that would help. I was given Peterson&Smith’s number by my last resort. They were calming, knowledgeable, professional, and at my farm within an hour. Stella is fine.
