Amazing services with people who really are passionate about what they are doing! Just had my first visit and it won't be my last!
I have been seeing Kevin at least once a month for almost seven years now. He is amazing. He also listens to what issues I am having and works with different approaches to find the best way to help me.
For someone who has had several massages at other places, Peterson Holistic Services is the best in Des Moines. Joy takes such gentle care of the body, mind, and spirit. Joy was able to pinpoint my physical as well as emotional stressors and help my body facilitate the healing process. I recommend Joy and Peterson Holistic Services to anyone looking to free themselves from pain!
I have been visiting the Peterson team for over a year now. I even took my mom there, and all she had to say was "Joy has the hands of an angel." Great all around wellness place! They offer an array of services. Nutrition and wellness counseling, personal training, massage therapy . . . . Of course, my favorite is massage therapy!
My husband and I thoughly enjoyed meeting Joy and Kevin. We loved that they took the time for the accessment of our issues. The massages were wonderful, very relaxing and you felt absolutely amazing after they were done. Sad to say we are moving back to MI. I wish we would have found them sooner. You will not be disappointed!
Peterson Holistic Services is aptly named. Joy took the time to understand my entire history. In addition to a truly phenomenal massage, she worked with me on the aspects of my day (like posture) that contribute to my shoulder and neck pain. I consider myself a regular now and will be back for my third visit in June. �
Being a massage therapist myself driving to Ames just for a massage I haven't received a massage like this before plus having a postural assement is rare which I appreciated. The next day I was pain free everywhere and I was reminded to do myofacial work which I have and have had amazing results. I will most definitely be back. And will be recommending to my friends in Desmoines!
