Araceli and her team provided excellent service when we decided to restore the front front door of our condo building. Their communication was excellent, they worked efficiently and were clean, courteous and respectful. I highly recommend Peter's Wood Refinishing.
Couldn't be happier Peter and his team are friendly, Professional, and hard working. Quality of work is excellent and Peter always sought to go to the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. He has a lot of carpentry knowledge and has some good connections to source or make relevant parts for victorian carpentry.
I contacted Peter's Wood Refinishing because I needed some work done in our master bedroom. Their rep Araceli came out to take a look. I was instantly struck by how knowledgeable she was with woodwork and crown molding. I don't know if she did some research ahead of time or was just already familiar with the homes on the NW side of Chicago where I live, but she absolutely came off as an expert. We had a carpentry issue which involved removing and restoring lots of fragile pieces. Only Peter’s was willing to do the job in a way that preserved the historic wood. They did the work thoroughly, in good time, and the results look spectacular. I cannot recommend Peter’s, and their extremely communicative, thoughtful, and skilled team highly enough.
Can't speak to their work but as some other reviewers mentioned, they are horrible at responding. I reached out several times to followup on an estimate and still no response. I've happily moved on to another contact.
