I've been taking my daughter here for 11 years, she gets ecstatic when it opens. That last few years I've noticed compared to other Ice Cream stands portion to price ratio isn't a good value but the quality is there and the service is good. We went for the first time this year yesterday. The portion was minuscule for the price. They actually weighed the ice creams � I was extremely disappointed. I understand businesses have to make money but it was ridiculous.
Must say Peter's has replaced desserts @ home. We go most days, sometimes twice.! The product is great, even gluten free who can tell? Like any business, there are rushes & slumps...single orders & little league teams who haven't a clue WHAT they want...so yes, there'll be a line....good things come to those who wait.Those who get impatient & huffy & leave, probably won't enjoy the ice cream wherever they end up anyway. Just remember; there is NOTHING so bad that a little ice cream can't fix it.
Wow! Not the same! I've not been to Pete's all summer, but I wanted to treat myself after coming home to Camillus. Let's just say that for $3.20 a medium soft cone was a rip off. The thing that ticked me off the most was 2 of 3 employees working the counter. Both of whom were so busy chit-chatting with another customer/friend at the other window. Hi John, I am so sorry that you did not have the experience you were looking for. We are training new employees after the college kids are back in college. You probably missed our lines we had all summer. A good number of ice cream stores are already closed because after the Fair the lines fade away because people are busy with back to school chores. I just got the medium size lol so small I'm not kidding 3 licks it was down to the cone. Which also had no ice cream in it
